WALLY joins thousands in a dash to end petlessness

The WALLY team was at the 25th Annual Doggie Dash benefiting the Oregon Humane Society this past weekend, located along the beautiful Portland waterfront. With leashes, treats and doggie bags in hand, the event started promptly at 9 a.m. The weather was beautiful, which made for a great run/walk for all participants.

With about 3,000 dogs and owners in attendance, there was never a dull moment at the PEMCO booth where the WALLY team ran the photo program. This was an especially fun event to offer our souvenir photos, because not only did we get to meet new people, but we also had the privilege of meeting their furry friends as well!

One memorable duo who stopped by our booth was Sam and Jeremy. Sam, the five- year-old golden doodle, was all smiles and was definitely one of our favorite pups of the day.

This was Sam and Jeremy’s first time attending the Doggie Dash, and they had a blast! Because of Sam’s photogenic nature, the WALLY team was not one bit surprised that Jeremy is currently in the process of getting Sam into modeling. Good luck to Sam!

Doggie Dash was another great opportunity for the WALLY team to get to know new Northwest residents, and in this case, their canines as well. The event was a huge success and raised more than $400,000 for pets in need. We had a blast and are looking forward to attending the Oregon Humane Society's Pug Crawl this weekend!
