The truth is out there in the NW – again!

Oh boy. Now I truly believe it’s going to happen.
The X-Files will return to television Jan. 24 in a limited six-episode series.

Yes, the show that was shot around nearby Vancouver, B.C., for its first five seasons is returning to Fox. Back too are stars David Duchovny (Fox Mulder), Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully), and Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner).
The X-Files aired from 1993-2002. I got a kick out of its Northwest backdrop owing to the show being shot near Vancouver, which impersonated locales like Mattawa, Seattle, and Olympic National Forest in memorable episodes. Sources say the upcoming miniseries also was shot in British Columbia.
The trailer reveals that one tradition endures: the obligatory Mulder-and-Scully-with-flashlights scenes.
I expect lots of people will tune in for the X-Files reboot. It follows a program that likely will have huge viewership in the Northwest – the NFC Championship Game.
