Riverside State Park has 55 miles of trails that are for all levels of hikers. Hikes are next to the Spokane River or if you prefer can stay on the trails that overlook the river. For the adventuresome hikers / climbers there are some great climbs in the Deep Creek area of the park. Hikes are accessible year round for great family outings. What’s great about the trails is that they are just 9 miles from Spokane. If you like there are R.V. camp sites and tent sites at the Bowl and Pitcher area.
