This is a great little hike! About 2 miles round trip. The first half is pretty flat terrain, then you wind up and around to the falls. There are two ways up when it gets to the steep part, the left is a more gradual grade, the right is great for a good thigh work out! The falls are beautiful, as is the creek you cross, and the amazing old growth forest with gigantic trees! I have seen young and old hike the trail, so really good for most people. Yes you may get a little winded toward the top, but then you get to rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. When you are done hiking, you can also check out Lake Crescent and there are a number of other trails to follow. There is a ranger station there and restrooms.
Pack plenty of water and bring a camera
