My 4 year old walked most of the way! The walk up to the ice caves is beautiful, with a lot of opportunities to weave through shade and sun. Once you see the ice caves, you are in awe to see something like that in the middle of summer. And then once you get closer, you notice how much bigger it is than you thought.
Good for kids, dogs allowed, 2.2 miles roundtrip. Stay out of the ice caves. People have died when they’ve collapsed suddenly. There are signs everywhere warning the dangers for a reason.
Stay out of the ice caves. They're dangerous.
