MFA Registration

You can protect your account by registering for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA verification is more secure than just a password because it relies on additional forms of authentication, such as:

  • Something you know, like your password
  • Something you have, like a phone

 

  1. Open your Web browser and open https://mfa.pemco.com/.

  2. You will be prompted to sign in with your new PEMCO Agents username (ex. John.doe@pemcoagents.com) and your PEMCO network password. This username was sent to you separately.

  3. Next, you will see the More information required prompt. Choose Next to continue.

  4. Next, you will see the MFA registration screen. Select I want to set up a different method to register your phone. Please click on the box in the lower left-hand corner of the “Keep Your Account Secure” dialog box.

  5. Select Phone then click Confirm to proceed.

  6. Enter your Mobile (Cell) Phone number and click Next. We recommend using your cell phone as it typically is with or near you at all times. You can select your office desk phone, but be aware that you can’t receive the multi-factor phone call if you are using your desk phone at that time.

  7. You will receive a call to your phone, where you can answer the call and follow the voice prompts, pressing “#” on to confirm.

    Remember that an MFA confirmation authorizes access to your account. If you receive a suspicious or potentially fraudulent prompt, report this to the PEMCO Solution Center immediately.

  8. You will receive the following notice indicating that your phone has been registered successfully. Click Next to continue.

  9. You will be presented with a Success message. Click Done to continue signing in.
