Save on insurance if you’ll be driving fewer miles – for good

April 25, 2021 by PEMCO Insurance

With vaccinations making post-pandemic life a soon-to-be reality, some drivers are finding their work-from-home lifestyles may not change much. Many have the option – and about 30% may demand – to continue telecommuting at least part time.

If, for example, your new normal means going into the office only twice a week instead of every day, that could reduce your mileage enough to make a difference in what you pay.

It's also a good time to check in with us in case anything else has changed. For example, if you installed a backyard pool that you can soon enjoy with friends or you're remodeling that oh-so-familiar living space, let us know. Additions like a pool could mean your liability limits need to be adjusted or that you're ready for an umbrella policy. Remodeling that goes beyond simple replacement (for example, replacing vinyl floors with hardwood) can leave your policy's replacement cost limits falling short, especially if you combine several upgrades at once.

Your local PEMCO agent or a representative at 1-800-GO-PEMCO would be glad to go over your limits with you to make sure your policy is keeping pace as you return to a more carefree lifestyle
