- Non-motorized gear. PEMCO’s homeowners, condo or renter policies cover non-motorized outdoor equipment, which includes things like bicycles, racquets, archery, climbing gear, skis and golf clubs. Firearms and related accessories are covered for a total of $2,500 against loss or theft. Paddle- and wind-powered (and even small motorized) watercraft, including a trailer used to haul it, is covered up to $1,500. Talk to PEMCO if your firearms or watercraft/trailer combination needs more protection, and we’ll get you covered.
- Boats and jet skis. PEMCO’s mariner policy protects sailboats, powerboats and jet skis as well as their drivers and passengers. You can tailor coverages to fit the kind of boating you do, for example, adding protection for fishing gear and personal belongings used on your boat.
- Motorhomes and travel trailers. You can expand coverage on your PEMCO auto policy to include the RV your family uses for camping. (If you’re renting an RV, we recommend purchasing the optional insurance offered by the rental company.)
- ATVs, motorcycles and snowmobiles. Off-road vehicles present unique risks both for injuries and liability as well as theft and damage. Generally, they require their own insurance coverage, which our affiliate, PEMCO Insurance Agency, can help you find through companies that specialize in those vehicles.
Your PEMCO homeowner, condo or renter policy can provide some coverage for an ATV used solely as a service vehicle at your own residence (not one designed/licensed for use on public roads). Talk to a PEMCO representative to learn more.

Your outdoor recreation gear is an important part of your Northwest lifestyle, and PEMCO stands with you to defend it.
Contact your local PEMCO agent or 1-800-GO-PEMCO to talk about the kinds of recreation you enjoy. For outdoor enthusiasts with high-end equipment, a Scheduled Personal Property Endorsement (which you can add to your policy for an additional fee) may make sense, since it has fewer exclusions and no deductible. Now’s a great time to get answers about protecting your gear and insuring against liability in an accident, before outdoor activities kick into full swing.
