Our April Nonprofit of the Month: PAWS

paws nonprofit employee dogFor the month of April, our employees nominated and voted for Lynnwood's PAWS as our Nonprofit of the Month.

PAWS' mission is to be a champion for animals, "rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people."

Here's why our employee Molly L. championed PAWS, in her own words:

"PAWS is Lynnwood's local animal shelter. Growing up in the Lynnwood-Edmonds area, every time the need for an animal shelter was mentioned, PAWS was the first organization to come to mind. They've been around my whole life. Not only do they have needs for adoptable dogs and cats, they also care for, and prepare injured and/or stranded wildlife for release back into the wild."

We're proud to support local organizations like PAWs that work to improve the quality of life in our Northwest communities.

This month Molly is helping to organize an upcoming Pet Supply Drive for employees in our offices to benefit PAWS.

You can support PAWS by volunteering, donating directly via their website, or attending a community event.

P.S. How adorable is Molly's pup, Jinx?
