Over the weekend, the
Vespa Club of Seattle (VCOS) hosted their annual
Yule Scoot and the WALLY team was excited to join in and spread the holiday cheer! The club met at PEMCO’s headquarters in Seattle for a pre-scoot rally before dropping off toys and donations to Mary’s Place, a non-profit that helps women and children in need.
This event was especially fun for the WALLY team because we were able to introduce Northwest Profile #50 The Scoomuter, which was recently added to PEMCO’s list of fun, yet relatable Northwest profiles.
If you’re a scoomuterist looking for a way to get involved in a scooter community, there are plenty of clubs that are accepting new members! Scoomuting is on the rise in the Pacific Northwest, so here are some clubs in the Seattle and Portland-areas:
Westenders of West Seattle
Firkin Scooter Club of Tacoma
Capitol Hill Scooter Club
South South SlowRiders in the Thurston/Mason area
Vespa Club of Cascadia
Oregon Scooter Club
St. John’s Scooter Club of Portland
Thanks, VCOS, for letting the WALLY team take part in your wonderful holiday tradition! Check out some video footage from the 2013 Yule Scoot
