America's Best Insurance Companies 2024 were identified in an independent survey based on a vast sample of over 15,000 people in the United States with at least one insurance policy. The evaluation was based on whether customers recommend their insurance company to others, as well as customer ratings based on the criteria of cost, customer service, the guidance agents offered, company transparency, digital services, and claims service. 

Out of the awards assigned, only 84 unique insurance companies won across five categories: Homeowners, Renters, Auto, and Permanent Life or Term Life Insurance. PEMCO ranked #1 in Auto – higher than competitors like USAA (#7) and State Farm (#19).
