Volvo safety features good for teens

Last week we posted a feature on the best cars for teen drivers, citing a Consumer Reports list of 30 used cars rated highly for safety.
Now, a new survey shows that Volvos might be another good choice. Owners of Volvos with advanced crash-avoidance features -- like distance alert, adaptive cruise control, and forward-collision warning -- enjoy those features enough that they say they'd buy similarly equipped cars again. Vovos first offered the high-tech features in 2008, which might make some older Volvos a safe, nearly affordable option for teen drivers.
