'Twin Peaks' reboot to feature Northwest talent

Now we know the full cast, including local actors, who'll appear on the "Twin Peaks" reboot slated to air on Showtime in 2017.
For those unfamiliar with "Twin Peaks," it was an acclaimed 1990-91 ABC-TV crime-drama series ("Who killed Laura Palmer?") set in a fictional Northwest town represented on-screen by North Bend, Snoqualmie, and Fall City. David Lynch created and produced the show, which thoroughly reflected his quirky and surreal tastes.
Besides original cast members like Yakima native Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, and Harry Dean Stanton, the offbeat show will include local talent like John Billingsley, perhaps best known for playing Dr. Phlox on "Star Trek: Enterprise" for four years. Billingsley moved to Seattle in 1989 and founded Book-It Repertory Theatre.
Other local talent in "Twin Peaks" includes Laura Kenny, who aside from film and TV roles has been seen on Taco Time and Washington State Lottery commercials; and Allen Galli, who played Sancho Panza in Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2015 production of "Don Quixote."
Oh, and also a guy named Eddie Vedder, best known for his work with Pearl Jam.
As for Lynch, he's virtually a Northwest native. Born in Missoula in 1946, he spent his youth growing up in Sandpoint, Spokane, and Boise.
