Groovin' on the Harbor Steps: Seattle goes "Out to Lunch"

Saturday, July 2, 2011by  WALLY Team

A lovely day in the city of Seattle calls for an equally lovely concert, and the Harbor Steps near Pike Place Market was the perfect location to make that happen. It was part of Seattle's summer-long "Out to Lunch" event, which features various musical acts to entertain lunch-goers during a break from the day. PEMCO was at the July 1st concert listening to the Celtic sounds of the Paperboys, a band that manages to blend traditional Irish sounds with Latin and African infused beats.

The Paperboys were a huge hit with the audience, and managed to get a whole crowd of people up and dancing to the music. For those of you who weren't able to make it to the Harbor Steps this past Friday, there are many more "Out to Lunch" events planned throughout the rest of the season. The Out to Lunch Concert was a great way to kick-off a sunny holiday weekend in the Pacific Northwest, and we're certain the great sounds of summer are not over…next stop, Fort Vancouver 4th of July Fireworks Show!
