You’ve heard your parents, teachers, and driver-ed instructors lecture you on the dangers of distracted driving.
After a while, they sound like the adults on a Charlie Brown video – “Wah-wah, wah-wah….”
Put all of that aside. Here’s a new reason for you to look out for yourself, regardless of what others tell you.
The nonprofit Governor’s Highway Safety Association issued a new report last week showing that teens make up the largest segment of drivers who were distracted during a fatal crash.
More to the point, 57% of those killed in crashes were the teen drivers themselves.
Check out the full report, which was funded through a grant from another insurance company. When it comes to saving lives and highway safety, we’re all on the same team.
