mechanics working on car

Air bags, ignition switches, tires. It seems hardly a month goes by without a new vehicle recall hitting the news. Now, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has made it easy for you to find out if your car is at risk owing to an uncompleted recall, even one dating back 15 years. Just enter your car's vehicle identification number (VIN) on

You can find your VIN on the dashboard (driver's side) or on the driver's side door post. And if you download our free GO PEMCO app for iPhone® and Android™, you'll find your VIN right at your fingertips.

If your car is up to date, it will show zero open recalls. If you've missed a recall, it will tell you which one so you can contact your local dealership to schedule a repair.
