PEMCO Insurance wins three awards for continued excellence in marketing and communications

​​SEATTLE – PEMCO Insurance is proud to announce it recently earned three “Best of Show” awards for outstanding marketing and communications from the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) at this year’s 53rd Annual Showcase Awards in Toronto.

PEMCO’s memorable “We’re A Lot Like You. A Little Different.” advertising campaign continued a three-year winning streak with two awards in the marketing communications division for radio and TV spots that feature the campaign’s “Northwest Profiles,” a host of characters that represent the quirky personas of the Pacific Northwest. 

PEMCO’s “Northwest Profile #51: Oblivious Left-Lane Occupant” ad won “Best of Show” in the radio spot or campaign category, and its "Northwest Profile #38: “Goosebumped Beach Bum” ad took home “Best of Show” for a TV spot or campaign.

IMCA also recognized PEMCO’s external communication efforts with a “Best of Show” award for the company’s “Building Relationships Through Facebook” social media campaign, which reflects the company’s commitment to foster meaningful relationships with community members both on- and offline.

“It’s a great honor to continue to be recognized by the IMCA for our work that conveys the values we share and the differences we celebrate with the Northwest community,” said Rod Brooks, PEMCO vice president and chief marketing officer.

PEMCO has accumulated 18 IMCA awards for exceptional marketing and communications over the past three years. Its award-winning campaigns seek to celebrate shared Northwest values by highlighting the characteristics found in many of this region’s residents. IMCA entries are judged by marketing, advertising, writing, graphics, and audio-visual professionals inside and outside the insurance industry. Teams of judges evaluated each entry using scoring criteria that considered effectiveness and functionality, audience, focus, content, and presentation.
