Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor customer service I have been trying to pay my bill for a week now. The website when you select pay gives you an error. I've emailed several times. Called 3 times and will not pay over the phone. They keep telling me their site so not down. Gave them the URL as well. At this rate my payments going to be late and it's their fault. Get back to your customers in a TIMELY fashion and get your website back up and running properly after a week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from UNBELIEVEABLE! My wife and I have had Pemco Insurance since 1977 for both our house and automobiles. During that time we have had 0 tickets and 0 accidents. My wife has had Parkinson's Disease for the past 20 years but has been able to drive until the past 6 months. When our car insurance renewed a couple of weeks ago, I went to the office and reported my wife would no longer driving - that we now had 2 vehicles but only 1 driver. Expecting the premium would be less since they were now insuring only 1 SAFE driver, I was shocked to find out the result of taking my wife off the policy resulted in a premium INCREASE of over $300 a year to insure just me. The only explanation I have been given was that she was a good driver and we were losing her good driver discount. I have related this to dozens of others - including other insurance companies I am requesting quotes from - and the reaction has been pretty universal: "That makes no logical sense!" So much for 40 years of loyalty on our part.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pemco rate increases unjustified Our vehicle and home owner's policies, respectively, increased 36.7% and 18.37% over a three year period. No claims, no vehicle changes, nothing. The only change was to our credit score because we took advantage of re-financing opportunities as home values increased. Our credit score remains high, but scores are slightly affected when you take advantage of such opportunities. We've been with Pemco for over thirteen years. My wife filed one window glass claim four years ago. We pay our bills (auto-deduct) religiously every month and this is the way we are thanked. Well, sayonara Pemco. Never thought we'd have to switch, but after getting shut down by your inflexible customer service agents we are shopping.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good luck with policy cancellation This review is specifically for the agent who helped me with adding policies. I had an agent helping me with the insurance policy. Whenever I had to add a policy he was super responsive. He will call me at his earliest convenience. When I have to remove a policy, its been days and he refuses to pick up my call. Very greedy behavior. Luckily customer service is not the same. They responded within 1 business day. Happy with that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Argumentative Representatives making dubious claims at best ruined my experience with Pemco. Shopping for home auto insurance now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from newsletter Just took time to read over the monthly e-newsletter and found it very insightful. Since I'm a senior I especially appreciated the article on best cars for older drivers---love my Forrester even more now! Thanx for the info and a suggestion---lower rates for senior drivers who drive fewer miles once retired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Never Leave Pemco My wife and I have been with Pemco for 74 years. We have had several accidents over the years. Pemco has never dropped us. I have given other companies opportunity to better my annual premium. None have come close. We will never leave Pemco.
