Will Ferrell unlike any other Mariners talent

Comedian Will Ferrell played second base for an inning in today’s Mariners spring training game, prompting some wry comments from teammates.
“It’s not every day," Willie Bloomquist noted, “that Will Ferrell takes over for me during a game.”
Ferrell’s on-field appearance (he fielded no balls) was part of a promotion to raise awareness in the fight against cancer.
The Olympian reported that Ferrell gave no interviews, saying, “I can’t talk. I’m in Beast Mode.”
Mariners pitcher Jordan Pries said, “I heard him on time. I threw a cutter and he said, ‘I like that (bleep).’”
Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik said in a statement, “I’ve spent my entire career, including since my arrival in Seattle as general manager, looking to identify and procure talent. I can say with confidence that I’ve never scouted a talent like Will before.”
