Sleeping bag? Check.
These aren’t items you’d typically need for a day of shopping but for the annual Goodwill Glitter Sale, they’re essential. This past Saturday, the WALLY team had the pleasure of attending the Glitter Sale and found out exactly why some people camp overnight for the sale’s 9 a.m. opening.
Rachel and Pat, two shoppers who had arrived at midnight the night before the sale, filled us in on why attending this sale is a must. For starters, the sale features the best vintage and designer clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories the Seattle Goodwill receives throughout the year and are so well priced, it’s hard not to buy a new head-to-toe look.

Second, it’s all about the experience. Shoppers get the full VIP feel with the secret sale room where you must flash your entry number before being ushered in. This and possibility of the dirt-cheap designer deals which lie ahead, create an undeniable excitement and glitter-fueled energy, even the self proclaimed shopping haters that were dragged there by their friends agree.

Third, you’re shopping for a cause. Yep, all that hard earned cash used to pay for those Manolos, Marc Jacobs shades and vintage duds goes directly to supporting Goodwill’s free job training and educational programs.
Lastly, you could meet new friends! Who could ask for more than that?

With all the deals and excitement of the Goodwill Glitter Sale, the WALLY team is in the holiday shopping mood. We’ll be at a Bartell's location near you this Saturday, November 17 and at Westlake Center on Saturday, November 24 to join in more shopping fun this season. Hope to see you there!
