The WALLY Team warms up its vocal chords for the Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and the WALLY Team couldn’t be more excited for some of our favorite upcoming holiday traditions.

Join us for the 28th Annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition and Fundraiser this Friday, Dec. 5, at downtown Seattle’s Westlake Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss this annual opportunity to support the Pike Place Market Senior Center!

So, grab your winter jacket and warm up your vocal chords for a chance to sing along with some of the city’s most festive carolers. If you’ve never been before, here’s what to expect at this year’s Figgy Pudding:

  1. Friendly Competition: Each team of carolers competes head-to-head in a variety of categories to determine the top “Figgies” of the year. Be sure to stop by the PEMCO booth and cast your vote for the PEMCO People's Choice Award. The two teams that get the most votes get to compete in a sing off on the Main Stage!

  2. Holiday Cheer: With the Macy’s Star shining bright, the Westlake Center holiday tree adorned in ornaments, twinkle lights illuminating the city, and the sounds of carolers filling the air, there’ll be cheer here, cheer there, cheer everywhere!

  3. Fun for the whole family: Don’t be surprised to see people of all ages get figgy with it once the competition begins. Dance and sing along to some of your holiday favorites!

There are many ways to participate at Figgy Pudding, whether you’re caroling, spectating, or volunteering. That’s right, there’s still time to donate, volunteer, or even form your own caroling team – singing skills not required. The best news is, even if you’re far from being an opera singer you still stand a chance to win! If your team raises more than $850 in donations, it qualifies you to be nominated for the most creative performance.

We hope to see you all at The Great Figgy Pudding Caroling competition and fundraiser. Be sure to visit our tent and cast your votes for your favorite caroling group!
