There’s something about dog lovers in the Northwest. If you’ve ever been to Marymoor Park’s off-leash dog park, you know that it’s the spot to take your pups for over 40 acres of unbridled fetching, running, and swimming. You need to be steady on your feet when walking the woody trails – the dogs are in charge at this place, and they’re not afraid to let loose.
We're looking forward to our next visit to the park, on Saturday, Sept. 6, for the 23rd Annual PAWSwalk. Our team (PEMCO’s Marymoor Dog Park Walkers) is back this year, with employees, family and friends and their canines large and small, all walking to help raise money to benefit animals at the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Lynnwood. The funds raised at PAWSwalk allow PAWS to care for more than 7,000 animals over the coming year – dogs, cats, injured and orphaned wildlife, and more.
In addition to the walk, there are other activities planned, including dog agility competitions, a Kids' Zone, pet-friendly shopping, and a beer and mimosa garden. Our WALLY event team will also be there, so be sure to stop by our booth to spin the prize wheel!
We hope to see all of you Marymoor Off-Leash Dog Ladies (and gents) out there leading the pack!
