Focus on Farming: Stories worth sharing

The WALLY Events Team recently had the opportunity to attend the 10th annual Focus on Farming Conference in Everett. The conference brought hundreds of attendees from the area who all converged at Comcast Arena to attend a trade show, hear farming and business best practices from regional speakers, and participate in a range of workshops -- in addition to dining on a 3-course lunch made of completely local ingredients!

Our own VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Rod Brooks, delivered the keynote speech to the crowd entitled "Today's Marketing - It All Starts With A Story." He shared PEMCO’s story and explained how each PEMCO's marketing success is all about knowing our customers, who each have a story to share themselves. Rod explained how each meeting at PEMCO begins with telling a customer story, keeping us connected to our customers even more.

After hearing Rod speak, the Events Team had the opportunity to hear a story from Kirt who has been a PEMCO customer for more than 30 years. He explained to us how one day he was driving to work when the exhaust pipe on his truck exploded. After getting his truck to a safe location, all he could think about was how he was going to have to deal with the headache getting his truck towed and wading through weeks of repairs.

But to Kirt's surprise, after a brief conversation with his PEMCO claims agent, a tow truck was immediately sent out to his location. All of the details had been taken care of and Kirt didn’t have to worry about a thing.

The WALLY team loves hearing stories like Kirt’s because it reminds us why J.D. Power ranked PEMCO “Highest in Customer Satisfaction among Auto Insurers in the Northwest Region”. This was just one example many encouraging stories we heard throughout the day in Everett, and one among many we hear throughout our travels in the Northwest.

We'd love to know, do you have a story worth sharing?
