Which is the Northwest’s favorite burger?

Americans like In-N-Out burgers best, according to a report featured today on msn.com. Specifically, the “Double Double” burger ranked No. 1.
Those of us living in the Northwest must drive to California to find the nearest In-N-Out. But the up-and-coming chain, Five Guys, ranks near the top of national surveys, and you’ll find Five Guys in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
Portland Food Cartlandian and Belltown Regional Faire Uber-Foodie are partial to local gourmet burgers. Our friends in Coeur d'Alene flock to Hudson's Hamburgers, forming long lines out the door each day at lunchtime.
But of the big-chain restaurants, which brand is preferred by discerning Northwest palates? Is it fried burgers like you find at Dick’s, Zip’s, or Burgerville USA? Or flame-broiled burgers from Carl’s Jr., Burger King, or Dairy Queen?
The photo above shows my camping-faire version of Jack In The Box’s Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger. No lettuce or tomato gets in the way of this pure, unadulterated, Weber-grilled protein!
What do you say? What’s the burger chain of choice for Northwest taste buds?

In Portland Metrovino or Gruner can give any burger in the country a run for the top spot.

I live in Seattle and Red Mill is my favorite.  I have been know to plan trips to SW WA and OR during July and August for the Walla Walla onion rings at Burgerville.  They're the best!
